
The Raymond John Wean Foundation is announcing a grant opportunity for grassroots groups and small nonprofits working in Warren and Youngstown neighborhoods.
Organizations interested in applying for a Resident Engagement Grant must attend one workshop in September, where they’ll receive hands-on support in developing a budget and refining their grant narrative, plus the opportunity to connect with other local nonprofits. Attending a workshop is the first step to apply for up to $5,000 in grant funding.
Workshops will be offered at these locations in Warren and Youngstown:
- Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Ave., Room 161, Youngstown. 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 16.
- Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Ave., Room 161, Youngstown. 5–7 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 17.
- The Wean Foundation, 147 W. Market St., Warren. 5–7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 18.
- The Wean Foundation, 147 W. Market St., Warren. 9–11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 20.
