Simply Slavic invites the Mahoning Valley to embrace the holiday spirit during “Home for the SLAVidays.”
The festive holiday gathering occurs 6-11 p.m., Friday, Dec. 19 at Penguin City Brewing Co. in downtown Youngstown.
Admission is $15 per person. Children 12 and under will be admitted free.
The event promises a raucous evening filled with Slavic holiday traditions, family-friendly entertainment and seasonal shopping, all in celebration of shared heritage and community spirit.
The celebration marks the halfway point to the annual Simply Slavic Heritage Festival in downtown Youngstown. In addition, the event will include the announcement of the honorary chair for the 2026 Simply Slavic Festival.

- A visit from the Cleveland Krampus and photos with St. Nicholas.
- Kolachi Contest for local bakers.
- Opłatek Sharing (traditional wafer exchange) for friends and family.

Food and drink
Slavic food from Babcia’s Lunchbox, Steel City Chimneys and The Pierogi Lady. Martinis, with proceeds benefiting the Simply Slavic Scholarship Fund.
