40th annual Warren Italian-American Heritage Festival. Courthouse Square, 161 High St., Warren 44481. 330-550-7877. Annual festival celebrates Italian heritage and culture with food, music, vendors, cultural and heritage displays, an outdoor Italian Mass, Italian cookies and pastries homemade wine competition, pageants, bocce and morra tournaments and a beer tent. 4-11 p.m., Thursday; 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday, Saturday, Sunday. 15th annual Oh Wow! On Tap. OH WOW! E&N Vintage Entertainment, LLC will host this year’s event that features rockabilly music and show vehicles. Activities include pinup-girl contests, a junior greaser contest, vintage fashion show, panel jam charity auction and a kids tent with Hot Wheels track, and a American Motor Drome Wall of Death Motorcycle Thrill Show. Children 10 and under admitted free. One free admission for the weekend for active military, fire, EMT, police or State Highway Patrol. Glendi – St. John’s Summer Greek Festival. St. John the Forerunner Greek Orthodox Church, 4955 Glenwood Ave., Boardman 44512. 330-788-5257. 2026 Highland Square PorchRokr Festival. Highland Square Akron 44303. highlandsquareakron.org. Facebook: porchrokr. PorchRokr transforms historic Highland Square porches into one-day art studios and concert venues (11 a.m.-7 p.m.). The event features nearly 150 local musicians, bands and artists. The headliner takes the Main Stage from 7:30-9 p.m. PorchRokr takes place the third Saturday of August each year in Akron’s Highland Square

16th annual Panerathon. Covelli Centre, 229 E. Front St., Youngstown 44503. This 10K/2 Mile Walk/Run benefits the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center. All proceeds benefit Mercy Health Foundation Mahoning Valley in support of the life-saving services at Joanie Abdu. Registration starts 8 a.m. 10 a.m., Sunday, Aug. 23.
