51st annual Mesopotamia Ox Roast, Antiques and Flea Market. 8800 state Route 534, Mesopotamia 44439. 440-693-4602. Email: ox**********@***il.com. Annual event benefits Mesopotamia’s volunteer firefighters association. Features 160 vendors, entertainment, and the festival’s iconic roast beef sandwiches. 93rd annual Our Lady of Mount Carmel Summer Festival. Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church Campus, 381 Robbins Ave., Niles 44446. mountcarmelniles.com. Annual festival features church-made Italian foods (pizza, cheese puffs, cavatelli, church-made meatballs, sausage sandwiches, fried bologna, smelts, calamari and baked items). Other attractions include music, games, rides and a bocce tournament. Open for lunch Thursday and Friday (11 a.m.-1 p.m.) and dinner all days of the festival. Thursday-Sunday, July 16-19.

Annual church festival features Italian food, music (Italian singers and bands), an outdoor Mass and parade, Man and Woman of the Year, children’s activities, raffles, heritage and culture. July 23-26.

Orkestar Pobeda will perform at Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church’s 93rd annual Serbian Day Picnic in Youngstown on Sunday, July 26. The festival features traditional Serbian food, live music, raffles and refreshments. (Orkestar Pobeda)

Festival showcases Italian-American heritage and culture through live music, food, vendors and games. The event includes Italian Fest Man and Woman of the Year presentations, Miss Italian Fest Pageant, a homemade wine contest, hot peppers in oil contest, the awarding of Italian Fest scholarships, a Sunday Mass and procession, a morra tournament and a beer and wine tent.
