Chef Erik’s Everyday Everything Salad Dressing | Chef Erik Hoover of Cockeye BBQ makes Everyday Everything Salad Dressing as part of Valley Spotlight’s “Quick Cook” challenge. The goal? Create a family meal for under $25 with ingredients from Grocery Outlet. Total cost for ingredients at Grocery Outlet: $24.50. Total does not include basic pantry items already on hand. Ingredients

¾ cup Olive Oil = $1.31
¼ cup Red wine vinegar = 25 cents
¼ cup Dijon Mustard = 50 cents
1 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
2 Garlic cloves, minced
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Total dressing cost: $2.06

Veggies and Fixins

Mixed greens = $7
Popcorn chicken = $6.99
Cucumber = $1.19
Mini sweet peppers = 99 cents
Sweet Onion = 25 cents
Carrots, shredded = 75 cents
Croutons = $1.99
Canned Olives = $1.29
Cheese = $1.99
