The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship opportunities.

Applications are due by the end of the day on March 1, 2026 and can be found at CFMV.org/scholarships.

Applicants only need to complete one universal application to be considered for all of the Foundation’s open scholarships. Students will answer a set of standard questions that determines which scholarships they are eligible for and will then be prompted to provide any additional information required for each applicable opportunity.

Scholarships are available for students meeting a variety of criteria, including current high school students as well as those already enrolled in post-secondary education programs. All Mahoning Valley students are encouraged to apply to ensure they don’t miss out on potential scholarship awards.

“Investing in students is investing in the future of the Mahoning Valley,” said Casey Krell, president of the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley. “Our scholarship program connects community generosity with students who are working hard to build a brighter future for themselves and our region.”
