MCCTC’s veterinary program to distribute pet food Dec. 18 | Community members in need of pet food are encouraged to stop by MCCTC to pick up supplies for their pets.
The Mahoning County Career and Technical Center (MCCTC) Adult Career Center is announcing a community pet food drive.
Distribution will take place on Thursday, Dec. 18 beginning at 5 p.m., and will continue until supplies run out.
MCCTC is located at 7300 N. Palmyra Road in Canfield. Pickups occur near the greenhouse.
Community members in need of pet food are encouraged to stop by MCCTC to pick up supplies for their pets.
The effort is organized by the MCCTC Veterinary Assistant Program.
Due to the support of staff, students, local businesses and community members, a large quantity of new, unopened pet food has been collected to assist pets and families in need.
The Veterinary Assistant Program is also accepting pet food donations through Dec. 17. Items can be dropped off after 3 p.m. at MCCTC Adult Ed office or contact Stacy Pierce for pickup. Call 330-729-4000, ext. 1517 for information on how to donate.
