The Medici Museum of Art is announcing expanded hours. Beginning in June, the museum will be open late on Thursday and Friday.

The new hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. The museum is closed on Monday through Wednesday and major holidays.

The Medici Museum of Art is located at 9350 E. Market St. in Warren. Admission is free.

The new hours are part of the museum’s efforts to expand exhibitions, educational programming and community-engagement initiatives.

The museum offers exhibitions featuring contemporary, modern and historic works by nationally and internationally recognized artists. In addition, the Medici hosts educational programs, guided tours, artist talks and private events.
