This rare historic image depicts ‘Barry’s Novelty Girls,’ a 1920s band from Youngstown, Ohio. The black-and-white photograph, which was created and published by Ward Studios, is a bit of a mystery. The negative is found at the Library of Congress and is dated ‘circa 1924, Feb. 18.’ No known restrictions on publication. No renewal in the U.S. Copyright Office.
