PolishYoungstown’s 12th annual National Pierogi Day-Youngstown celebration returns Thursday, Oct. 8. The all-day celebration will feature Polish food, beer and vodka, music and cultural activities.
The event takes place 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Kravitz Deli, 3135 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. The restaurant will offer dine-in and pickup for pierogis and other Polish items.
Food, activities and attractions include:
- Pierogis, including potato and cheddar, kraut, cheese and dill and a Reuben variety.
- Limited-edition, chef-made Rose and Cream PYTown paczki.
- a virtual pierogi-making demonstration and lesson by Sip & Pinch pierogi parties.
- Special appearances by Stan the Pieróg, the PolishYoungstown mascot.
- T-shirts and merchandise from the Polish Arts Club of Youngstown.
- Polish music and sing-a-long with Cleveland’s Polonia Duo.
