The YMCA of Youngstown’s Spiritual Emphasis Committee is inviting community members, local businesses and churches to gather for its annual Good Friday breakfast and service.
The event occurs Friday, April 3 at the Central YMCA on the second floor in the upper gym. Doors open at 6:45 a.m. and the breakfast starts at 7 a.m. A short service follows from 8-8:45 a.m.
Featured speakers include the Rev. Juan Rivera from Victory Church in Coitsville, Central YMCA Executive Director Dre Brown and YMCA of Youngstown President and CEO Beth Scheller.
The service will share messages of hope, reflection and unity. Attendees are encouraged to stay for conversation and fellowship.
“This gathering has become a meaningful tradition for our community,” said Scheller. “Each year, we are grateful to bring people together to reflect, connect, and celebrate the message of hope that Good Friday represents.”
Tickets are $20 per person and $140 for a table of eight. Street parking is available and restrictions have been lifted for the duration of the event.
Tickets can be purchased here or by visiting the Central YMCA.
