Penn State Extension webinars to focus on finances | The series will offer practical strategies and resources to support long-term financial wellness.


Anyone interested in learning how to organize finances, connect money with healthy habits and build stronger financial relationships can do so through an upcoming Penn State Extension webinar series.

The “Boosting Financial Wellness” webinar series occurs from 9-10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 29 and May 6.

This three-part webinar series is intended to help participants strengthen financial knowledge, simplify money management and build healthier habits. Each session will cover unique topics that together provide comprehensive tools and insights to support a healthier, more financially resilient lifestyle.

Webinars include:
  • Financial Declutter. Participants will learn to identify financial messes, streamline recordkeeping and reduce stress for a more stable financial future.  April 22.
  • Money and Nutrition. Explores practical strategies for managing finances while making intentional, nutritious food choices, highlighting the connection between budgeting and healthy eating. April 29.
  • Money and Relationships. Attendees can discover strategies for having open, honest conversations about money with partners, family, friends or business associates to reduce tension, recognize others’ money personalities and strengthen understanding.  May 6.

The series will offer practical strategies and resources to support long-term financial wellness.

Organizers encourage attendees to register by April 21. Registration carries a fee of $10 and includes all three sessions.

Webinars require registration to receive the link to access. Penn State will email a link to the recorded webinars within 10 business days after the live events. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.

This program has been adapted from “Money Counts: A Financial Literacy Series,” developed by the Penn State Sokolov-Miller Family Financial and Life Skills Center.
