Sunrise Entertainment announces River Rock at the Amp season

River Rock at the Amp. Warren Community Amphitheatre, 321 Mahoning Ave. N.W., Warren 44483. Classic rock concerts occur rain or shine. Includes amphitheater seating and room for lawn chairs and blankets. No chair bags permitted. Food and refreshments are available on site. (Sunrise Entertainment)

Sunrise Entertainment is announcing its 2021 roster for River Rock at the Amp. The season opens on Saturday, May 29 with two tribute bands performing the music of Heart and Fleetwood Mac.

All concerts occur at Warren Community Amphitheatre, 321 Mahoning Ave., N.W., Warren. Gates open at 5 p.m. Bands take the stage at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets range from $8 to $12. Tickets and information can be found here. Tickets also will be available at the gate.

A wide variety of food and refreshments, including alcohol, will be available on site. Concerts occur rain or shine.

River Rock features tribute and cover bands performing music that spans classic rock, country, funk, disco, and pop. Bands range from local and regional talent to groups of international acclaim.

7 Bridges: The Ultimate Eagle Experience. Eagles tribute band. Northern Whiskey. Cover band playing modern country music. Saturday, June 12.

The Nielson Trust (featuring Rick Nielson and family). Nick Perri and The Underground Thieves. Friday, June 18.

Hollywood Nights. Bob Seger tribute band. Invincible. Pat Benatar tribute band from Northeast Ohio. Saturday, June 19.

E5C4P3. Journey tribute band. Talk of the Town. Pretenders tribute band. Saturday, June 26.

Zoso: The Ultimate Led Zeppelin Experience. Led Zeppelin tribute band. Harvest: The Neil Young Electric & Acoustic Tribute. Neil Young tribute band. Saturday, July 3.

Atomic Punks. Tribute band performing the early music of Van Halen. The Michael Weber Show. Rock band from Akron. Saturday, July 10.

• Double Vision: The Ultimate Foreigner Experience. Foreigner tribute band. Huckin Fillbillys. The Huckin Fillbillys include Elvis McCoy (Jimmi Miglozzi) on lead vocals, Cooter Triple’O (Ken Walters) on guitars and backing vocals, Critter McGillicutty (Merlin Ambrosius) on bass and backing vocals. and Rufus Conine (Butch Likens) on drums. The group describes itself as looking like they came out of a scene from the film “Deliverance” “with a touch of hillbilly rockstar.” Saturday, July 17.

Fins to the Left. Jimmy Buffett tribute band. My Drunk’n Uncle. High-energy rock ’n’ roll. Saturday, July 24.

Queen Nation. Queen Nation is described as “the West Coast’s longest running most authentic costumed re-creation of a vintage Queen concert.” The group is fronted by vocalist Gregory Finsley. No Funk, No Justice. Dance/funk band from Youngstown. The group bills itself as “your mom’s favorite cover band.” Saturday, July 31.

Face 2 Face. Features tributes to Billy Joel and Elton John. Bad JuJu. Features rock from the 1980s through the 2000s. Saturday, Aug. 7.

The ELO Tribute Show. The tribute band performs the music of Jeff Lynne and ELO.  Brass Metropolis. Chicago tribute band. The night is also billed as “Jeep Night.” Saturday, Aug. 21.

Disco Inferno. Seventies disco tribute band. The group includes Sonny D. Lite, Joey “Hollywood” D. Lite, Bjorn Z. Free, and Rocky Bucacci. The group was formed in 1995 after Sonny relocated from Southern California to the Cleveland area. 1988. Tribute band performing ’80s hard rock covers and originals. Friday, Aug. 27.

Wish You Were Here: The Sight and Sound of Pink Floyd. Tribute band. Chookie Unplugged. Featuring performances by Chookie Alberini. Saturday, Aug. 28.
