The day opens with a parade and continues with music, food, fashion, art, dance, a pageant, and children’s activities. The festival celebrates the countries and cultures of Hispanic/Latin America, including Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Nicaragua, Perú, and Puerto Rico. Countries will display items and musical instruments from their native lands in their respective booths.
