‘Holiday Parade and Light-Up Night’: 4-8 p.m., Friday, Dec. 5 in downtown Youngstown. The annual celebration includes an open-air holiday market, family-friendly activities, live music and a visit from Santa. The holiday parade begins at 6 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the downtown tree lighting ceremony (approximately 7:15 p.m.)

Holiday Parade and Light-Up Night. downtown Youngstown. The city of Youngstown and Youngstown Cityscape will host their annual Holiday Parade and Light-Up Night tonight. The event occurs from 4-8 p.m. The downtown celebration includes an open-air holiday market, family-friendly activities, live music and a visit from Santa. The holiday parade begins at 6 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the downtown tree lighting ceremony (approximately 7:15 p.m.) A shuttle service will run continuously during the event. In addition, accessible drop-off and parade viewing locations are available front of the DoubleTree Hotel on Central Square. Pickups occur at 250 E. Federal St. The parade and tree lighting are presented by the city of Youngstown, Youngstown CityScape and the Downtown Youngstown Partnership. Main Stage title sponsors include Cochran Buick/GMC and WesBanco. WFMJ is the media sponsor and Platt Insurance will provide commemorative mugs. Downtown restaurants will open during the festivities. 4-8 p.m.

But the heart of the holiday gathering is its fundraiser. Proceeds from a special charity raffle will benefit Devin, an 8-year-old Youngstown boy who survived a rare and aggressive brain cancer. Courthouse Square will come alive on Saturday, Dec. 13 when ‘Hometown Holidays’ returns to downtown Warren (‘Hometown Holidays’)

Hometown Holidays. Courthouse Square, downtown Warren.  “Hometown Holidays” returns to Warren in December with a robust schedule of family-friendly activities. The annual holiday event takes place from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Programs occur on Courthouse Square and throughout the downtown. The all-ages event will offer crafts, holiday sales, music, a meet-and-greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus and the annual holiday tree lighting.
